Join Us in Celebrating International Day of People with Disability
International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations-recognised day celebrated annually on December 3rd. This day brings together government, schools, community groups, businesses and individuals to increase awareness and understanding of people with disabilities.
IDPwD is an opportunity to be part of creating an inclusive and diverse community for the 5.5 million people with disability in Australia.

Accessibility Features
- Ramp Access: All indoor and outdoor pools now have ramp access for all-ability entry, with an aquatic wheelchair available for use.
- Changing Places Facilities: Our new Changing Places facilities at the indoor pools offer the most accessible changing spaces for people with disabilities.
- Swimming Ledge: The warm water program pool now has a swimming ledge for seating, support, and use during infant swimming lessons.
- Hearing Loop System: A hearing loop system has been installed at the reception and common areas to assist visitors with hearing impairments.
- Warm Water Program Pool: Our indoor warm water program pools are ideal for those with rehabilitation needs to access indoor warm water all year round.
