Meet Karen – Aqua Aerobics Instructor
“I worked in banking my entire career, and after retiring, I wanted to combine my love for people and fitness, so teaching Aqua seemed like the perfect fit! I began teaching in March 2025, and my regular class runs every Wednesday morning at 8am.”

What makes Aqua different from other classes? “Aqua is great because anyone can do it, whether you’re super fit or managing an injury. You can always work to your own level.”

What do you enjoy most about teaching Aqua? “I love the people! Everyone comes along not just for fitness, but for the social aspect too. It’s such a friendly and encouraging group, and I love showing them how effective and enjoyable Aqua can be.”

What are the top benefits of the class? “The benefits are endless! Improved fitness, balance, flexibility, and mobility, all while being easy on the joints. You get a great workout without even realising how hard you’re working!”

Why should new members give it a try? “Many people think Aqua is only for older participants, but once they try it, they realise it’s fantastic for everyone. It’s fun, challenging, and accessible; so why not give it a go?”
